What joy you brought to so many, especially children…

Rahima came as a radiant being of light, blessed by a strong energy and will to take action– which she did with vision and confidence, manifesting in many different arenas. Her idealism and ability to connect in and for community flowered in areas of service, education, peace groups, universal events, contra-dance, puppetry, singing, meditation to name just a few. Any cause or group that Rahima created or joined was catalyzed and enlivened by her energy and capacity to envision and manifest. She strengthened communities.
Rahima brought a generous, practical, compassionate beam of light into the world and she had fun while doing it. She could be angelic and earthy, boldly adventurous, curious, brilliant, direct, playful, masterful, devotional, playful and funny; truthful, strong-willed and courageous. As she did with most of her adventures, she honestly and openly explored her cancer and dying journey which became a source of inspiration, comfort and support for herself, her communities, family and friends. A light not “under a bushel” but shining powerfully, splendidly, fully. She gave it all away before journeying on to realms of glorification.
