Gabriela Zamyat Wisbar

Birthdate:  February 14, 1960    URS: February 2, 2019

A long time devoted mureed and beautiful song bird has now flown back to the Source. Gabriela was one of the most positive, joyful and light-filled beings I have ever had the great privilege to guide. Her singing was absolutely divine, uplifting the hearts and souls of many. At the time of her passing, her many friends and family had surrounded her with round-the-clock care. She continued to express deep gratitude and sent me messages about how loved and blessed she felt even when her body was failing her. This was her beautiful, indestructible spirit – ever attuned to the divine and all-possibility up to the very last breath.

In 2000 she had invited me to accompany her to Bali, where she and another friend were building a retreat center called Gaia Oasis in northern Bali not far from Lovina. Although I did not join the actual retreat project (which was very inexpensive to join!), I did stay at the beautiful home that was built for her, right by the sea where I spent a week on silent retreat week after she had returned back to Germany. I could feel how deeply Gabriela Zamyat loved the Balinese people and culture, even though she did not actually spend much time on Bali after her house was built. So, when she told me that she would return to Bali at the end of November 2018, I felt that this was an important closure for her. She was always so intuitive, and had said that she needed to make a bridge between her old life and the new one that was still to come. Whilst on Bali, she sent me several messages about the great joy she had in being there, along with this picture which shows her radiant beauty and light. Although her physical presence will be very much missed, she will always have a deep home within my heart, and her music continues to reverberate through the cosmos forever….

Gabriela Zamyat leaves behind a loving husband,
Siegbert Kießler- Wisbar, and daughter, Davina Wisbar..

blessings,
Saki

3 Memories for “Gabriela Zamyat Wisbar”

    Dear Saki, dear friends:
Gabriela belonged to our Sufi Centre Bielefeld before she moved to South Germany. We met her during the seminars of Saki in Bielefeld, where she frequently participated, and last year she bit farewell “until next April”. I was very sad that this does not happen any more, although in spirit she will join.
We will make a memorial meditation class on Friday, 22 Feb in our Centre.
    Love,
    Heiko
